LCL CARGO= LESS CONTAINER LOAD
LCL is a term that describes shipment of goods with less volume than a full container (20'/40/45). After accepting the cargo consignment from the owner, having a less than full container volume, the carrier (or agent) would sort them out in accordance with the nature of the goods and their destination. Goods for the same destination, would be collected together and shipped in the container.。

LCL has the advantages of large cargo handling capacity, low cost, controlled transportation time, multi-point distribution, etc.
